Jason’s mentor is Trevor Gilbert OBE. He is a man who has spent many years assisting others including legendary guitarist Peter Green and his Splinter Group, securing them a recording contract with Eagle Rock. The results of his endeavours and never say die determination along with a quest to find giant kindred spirits in the world resulted in new ventures. He works together, co-creating and devising new brands and enterprises with the likes of James Cracknell - 2x Gold Olympian and expeditionary.
James is known for his Herculean resilience after rebuilding his life from the life-threatening accident he had whilst on a world record cycle racing attempt across Arizona. James is considered one of Britain's all time endurance athletes.
Jason and James's path crossed in 2013 and together they developed Ridge Monster® a new sports lifestyle brand founded to save lives and prevent injuries. Jason considers James’s kindness was like throwing him a lifeline in business.
Another larger than life character is the well-known actor with an iconic booming voice and a very great big bushy beard - the one and only Brian Blessed , known for his roles in Flash Gordon, Z Cars and Star Wars The Phantom Menace, adventurer and fully trained cosmonaut.
Jason created a co-enterprise with Brian’s blessing to create BITEY® ‘the ultimate energy sports bars - Eat Bitey & Get Mighty .
Jason is also currently developing a new line of stories about Brian's life.
